My tags this week are based on an Aesop's Fable.
“One day a countryman
going to the nest of his Goose found there an egg all yellow and glittering.
When he took it up it was as heavy as lead and he was going to throw it away,
because he thought a trick had been played upon him. But he took it home on
second thoughts, and soon found to his delight that it was an egg of pure gold.
Every morning the same thing occurred, and he soon became rich by selling his
eggs. As he grew rich he grew greedy;
and thinking to get at once all the gold the Goose could give, he killed it and
opened it only to find nothing.”
This photo shows ten golden egg tags, all finished with various gold embellishments. Making these was my Mother’s Day activity with Laura, my 22 year old daughter – it was the first time we’d done something crafty together for years because she has been away at University. It was a lovely opportunity to play together, we had great fun!
I am having so much fun this month, I love Easter and Springtime.
Thank you for looking. More eggs next Tuesday. Have a great week,
Love Jane xx

Forgot to say thank you for visiting my blog and for all your lovely comments, Im glad you enjoyed your visit :)
ReplyDeleteWhat lovely shinies you created. How nice to craft with your daughter; mine isn't interested at all unfortunately, but I am beginning to get my wee man involved, but as he has an ASD, it could well be a fleeting thing or become an obsession ;)
